When life gets chaotic, it's time to retreat to your "happy place." Happy places don't necessarily have a physical location, and even if they do, we don't always have the space in our lives to retreat to another part of the world literally. But if you practice meditating a bit every day, painting a picture of your Happy Place in your mind, soon it will be easy to access in your memory banks, and even just a five minute visit in your daydreams can transport you to an internal peace. This picture is very similar to one of my internal Happy Places...I love green, growing things and a snug little house by the water.
