Lead The Children

When we look at all of the divisiveness and anger in the world around us today, it can be difficult to remember that everyone around us as well as ourselves was once a small child with none of this hatred, prejudice, or racism. Little kids don't notice things like skin color; they play with each other regardless if they are male or female, potentially gay or straight, bold or shy.

All of the rejection we put out into the world about race, religion, gender, and so on, we put out as adults. And the children around us (especially our own) are susceptible to our narrow-mindedness. So next time you howl, remember that any child in your life who looks up to you and respects you is learning to howl as well. Stop ranting. We could fix all of this in one generation if we so choose.
