Hidden Opportunity

There is a nasty virus going around that infects the inner ear causing lack of balance, vertigo and nausea. Quite a few of our clients have been catching it, and because it is contagious, some entire families are afflicted. Luckily, most people seem to throw it off in a few days; but it is scary and has caused injuries when people stumble, and obviously, while afflicted it's not safe to drive.

Obviously, we recommend rest and anti-viral herbs like oregano, rosemary, mint, and elderberry along with zinc to build the immune system. But what we'd really like to address is the panic in our clients over 50, many of whom are alarmed by these symptoms and worry that they're having a stroke.

Anytime we have a chance to notice our mortality and check to see if we are ready to leave this lifetime; the Universe is offering us a gift. We get a chance to step quickly into the overview of our life and think about what we've done and what we haven't. When we have a serious disease or condition, sometimes we are too worried about survival to use this opportunity. A little virus, however, gives us a golden moment to stop blundering forward, take a good look at ourselves and pay attention to any needed course corrections. It may not seem like it, but this little bug is a wonderful wake-up call. Now, we only have to use it...
