Smoothies

One of the best high nutrition breakfasts we can have in the summer is a smoothie. Not only is it quick, but it needs no cooking heat on hot summer mornings. A good protein source like yogurt (dairy or non-dairy) makes an excellent base to which can be added organic fruit, greens, and veggies; even oats, seeds, nuts or nut butters. Naturally vanilla, spices, organic local honey, or cacao powder can contribute nutrition, flavor and antibacterial/ antiviral/ anti-allergy support.
