Mistake-making Machines

One of the most common challenges we face as older souls is the inaccurate thinking that we have been around the block enough times to no longer be making mistakes. There is even a school of thought that there are no accidents in life, so if something goes wrong, some sneaky internal sub-personality of yours wanted you to suffer and magically arranged for that person to run into your car.

First of all, we'd like to say that when you come here to the physical plane of existence, you sign up for serendipity and unpredictability. Each person has their own internal agency and you do not control the Universe, consciously or subconsciously.

It is also true, that you come here to be a Mistake-making Machine. We, as humans, learn through Trial and Error, and frequently (if we are fully participating in life), we will find ourselves on the Error side of that equation. This is how it should be. You can't learn to walk without falling down.
