Play
Sitting in the house or office all day in front of our screens, sneaking in Game of War or Candy Crush between business or child care, we think we are balancing work and pleasure. To some degree that is true. But your inner child needs play; real play not just virtual play. When was the last time you rolled in the grass, waded in a creek or played on a swing?
It seems silly and childlike, but real play increases our creativity levels, improves our memory and agility, and really reduces stress. Impressive gains that video games don't offer.
We're not telling you to give up the video games, just add in some real play this week, and see how you feel.
